All Status Effects Explained
Both the Maskless One and the enemies can be afflicted by various status effects if they are hit by elemental damage a couple of times. While they may provide buffs, they may also give you a severe disadvantage to you, so you have to be careful when you are afflicted by any of these.
Element |
Status Effect |
Explanantion |
---|---|---|
Vis |
Dizzy |
It is one of those status ailments that you have to deal with the most during early game, while you are inflicted by Dizzy, your defense will be severely reduced, but on the flip side, it increases your damage and stamina regeneration, so you will be able to use this to your advantage by not getting hit by opponents in your vulnerable state. |
Malanno |
Sick |
Anyone who is inflicted by Sick will lose their hp over time, which can kill you at crucial moments during battle. You also need to avoid going too close to an enemy inflicted by Sick as it is contagious. |
Gratia |
Radiant |
If you are afflicted by Radiant, you will receive some healing for the duration of the effect. Now this isn’t as good as it sounds, and you are better off avoiding it, as if you will get hit by a strong explosion if an enemy hits you. |
Fatuo |
Wicked |
While you are afflicted by Wicked, any damage you deal with elements will increase, but there is a catch and enemies will recover HP as they keep hitting you. If you inflict an enemy with Fatuo, you can get some passive healing out of it. |
