Peacock’s adaptation of Twisted Metal for TV has only been out for two weeks, and despite (indeed, perhaps because of) its thin plot and broad humour, we quite enjoyed it. Turns out we weren’t the only ones either, as NBCUniversal has revealed that people couldn’t tear their eyes off the screen or themselves off the couch, becoming the «most-binged» new comedy series to date.
On average, viewers watched roughly three episodes at a time, and while we didn’t get exact figures, others knocked out all 10 in a single sitting. Nielsen data finds that viewers watched Twisted Metal for a combined 400 million viewing minutes, making it one of the week’s most-watched streaming originals.
