Best Items To Sell For Quick Money In Story Of Seasons: Grand Bazaar

It won’t take you a lot of playtime in Story Of Seasons: Grand Bazaar to realize that it revolves entirely around you having a ton of money. You require cash to buy everything from seeds for your farm and ingredients for your food recipes to various upgrades to your tools, techniques, and other mechanics.

However, the amount of money you make can change drastically based on what you decide to do. For the most part, you make money in the game by selling various items on the Saturday bazaar, but the type of items you stock up on matters a lot.

How To Make Money Early-Game

The early game of Story Of Seasons: Grand Bazaar starts as soon as you get past the first tutorial bazaar and begin your farming journey. You then have a total of six days before the subsequent bazaar each time, and this phase lasts until you reach around rank four in the bazaar and unlock all three windmills.

In the early game phase, you don’t have access to most of the complicated and profitable items in the game, so you have to make the most out of the little things that you do have. Here’s what you should focus on:

Item

How To Get

Crops

As you’d expect from a farming simulator, the crops you grow on your farm play a huge role in the amount of money you make at the bazaar. For the early phase, you can largely sell all the crops you get as soon as they’re done growing.

This will give you a sizeable chunk of money, but selling crops in bulk can be rough at the bazaar, so it’s recommended to divide them into stacks of around 20 each.

Medals

Different types of medals will be introduced in the game quite early, and they earn you more based on the type as follows: Gold medals > Silver medals > Bronze medals > Medals. These are high-value items that you can farm from the early game.

You can get medals by acquiring different titles and getting a letter from the mayor about them the next day. However, the main method to obtain them regularly is looking for mud on the ground and using your Hoe on it.

Processed Animal Products

You’ll be given a chicken quite early in the game, and you can buy a lot more animals at a shop in the bazaar for a relatively cheap price. Once these animals grow up, they’ll drop eggs, milk, or wool for you.

After getting these items, you can process them at the red or blue windmill to get much more costly items to sell. One of the best processed animal products to make is the Herb Cheese in the blue windmill.

Fish

During the early days of Story Of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, you won’t have a lot of ways to spend your time. Hence, you can use all your free time to fish in different waters of the town.

You can either sell these fish by themselves or make Sashimi with as many of them as possible, which can be a great way to earn some money at the bazaar.

Flowers

Finally, you can get a couple of different types of flowers from foraging around the map daily, and you can grow some of your own after buying their seeds. These flowers can already sell for a decent amount at the bazaar.

However, the better way to sell them is by making perfume or dyes from them at the red windmill. You can also make perfume from different herbs, which is also a good early-game item to sell.

How To Make Money Mid-Game

The mid-game starts as soon as you get all three windmills up and running since you’ll now have access to a lot more processable items. The main goal is to keep these windmills as busy as possible all the time since the items you can craft in each one are different. However, when it comes to making the most money, here’s what you should prepare:

How To Get

Early Ores And Gemstones

As you enter the mid-game, you’ll have a bunch of upgrades on your Hatchet, which will also give you the ability to farm high-tier ore like Gold and Orichalcum. By this time, you’ll likely stop requiring much copper and silver for upgrades.

Hence, you can start selling them at the bazaar for a decent price while making sure to keep some in your storage. You’ll also get a bunch of gemstones randomly while breaking ore, which can be sold by themselves or made into accessories before selling.

Simple Recipes

You’ll also learn a lot of recipes in the game as you go by either interacting with random objects, finishing certain tasks, or trying out new dishes. While most of these recipes are cheap, there are a few outliers that can give you good money with little effort.

A couple of great examples for this are Omelet Rice and Pizza. You can easily make the latter with some cheese, tomato, and wheat flour. Once made, it can sell for over 1,000 each. Make sure to use cheese from the red windmill for this recipe.

Honey

By the time you reach mid-game, you’ll likely also have the beehive set up in the mountains. Depending on the flowers you use, you can retrieve different types of honeycombs from this every few days.

These can then be processed at the blue windmill to give you some honey, which sells for a significant amount at the bazaar.

Nuts

You can pick a bunch of Walnuts (Chestnuts in autumn) around your village two times a day, with the reset being at around 5pm. As you unlock more farming fields, you’ll also get more trees and locations for these nuts.

Once you get them, you can process them at the windmills to make bottled versions or combine them with oil. You can easily get around ten nuts daily on your farm.

Pickled Items

It won’t take you long to notice that each windmill has some pickled items that you can make by combining different crops with vinegar, which can be made using rice at the red windmill.

These are arguably the best items to sell at the bazaar since you can make them in bulk and they’re also quite easy. Make sure you’re growing the crops that can be pickled with a bunch of rice planted as well to make use of these.

Tea

Finally, different teas are often a part of the trending items for each month. You can get different season leaves from the tea crops and then make them into a tin at the yellow windmill.

After that, you can either sell them as is or craft tea with them before selling if you have the recipe.

How To Make Money Late-Game

Finally, the late-game of Story Of Seasons: Grand Bazaar starts once you reach close to the World or the seventh rank of the bazaar. By this time, you’ll not only start earning a ton of money in general, but also have access to all the endgame items that you can sell. However, at this point, the focus shifts more towards upgrading your stall.

Here’s everything you should focus on for increased money in the rest of your gameplay:

Complicated Recipes

By this point in the game, you’ll be able to start making a lot more complicated recipes that can easily net you over 4,000 for each sale. It’s recommended to start focusing on these depending on what season you’re in.

Trending Items

Each season has some trending items from the start of the game, but you might not be able to focus on them due to a lack of access at the start. However, during the late game, you’ll have access to everything.

This makes it important to focus on the trending items as much as possible.

Decor Upgrades

While this isn’t an item itself, getting upgrades to your decor is single-handedly the best way to raise your sales in the endgame. Different levels of decor can give massive boosts to your sale prices.

Late-Game Gemstones

Finally, if you don’t need your late-game gemstones like Diamonds or Pink Diamonds for crafting endgame items, you can sell them for a very high price. The normal Diamond can also be used to craft a bracelet at the yellow windmill.

You’ll need the Purple Wonderstone for this, but it allows you to bump the price for each Diamond from around 15,000 to 30,000, which gets further boosted with your bazaar decor.

With all this in mind, one of the most important things to remember is not to sell your items outside the bazaar.
