Caliber is the premium currency in The First Descendant – during the open beta you can get access to it via missions.
Caliber is the premium currency in The First Descendant used to purchase cosmetic items. During the Open Beta of The First Descendant, you will get plenty from daily log-in rewards and event rewards. Progress, cosmetics, and anything else you unlock with Caliber during the open beta will not carry over to the main game, so you can use as much as you like on cosmetics.
This guide covers how to get more Caliber, so you can test out as many of those snazzy new skins as possible. We’ll also go over how to use Caliber to unlock skins.
This is info based on the open beta of The First Descendant.
How To Get Caliber
Caliber is primarily unlocked through daily missions and log-in rewards.
If you sign in once a day during the test period, you’ll get 500 Caliber a day as well as other cosmetics rewards.
How To Use Caliber
Once you’ve got Caliber from your log-in reward, head to the Descendant Instructor in Albion. Here it is marked on a map below.
At this shop, you can purchase Descendant Full Body skins, Descendant skins, Paint for your cosmetics (like dyes essentially), and weapon skins.
- Full Body skins cost 400 Caliber
- Single pieces of Descendant cosmetics cost 150 Caliber
- Paints cost 50 Caliber
- Weapon skins cost 100 Caliber
During the open beta, you get access to some free Premium skins for the first three Descendants. These do not need to be purchased with Caliber.
These are just the prices for the open beta of The First Descendant. This may change in the full release. As it stands, any purchases you make during the open beta will not carry over to the base game, so spend all the Caliber you’ve got to create a really cool character.
