The exploration segment of Chapter Two places you between three wrecks: the MCRN Crowley on the left, the UNN Hiram Grant straight ahead, and the Belter vessel Le Guin behind you. You can’t board the Le Guin until you’ve retrieved a barrel of reaction mass from both the Crowley and the Grant.

This guide contains spoilers.

Scannables

There is only one scannable object in the main exploration area; most of the mission data for Chapter Two is found afterward.

Threat Assessment

Camina Drummer scans a hand terminal near the wreck of the MCRN Crowley in The Expanse: A Telltale Series

When you first enter the Ship Graveyard, float to the left toward the opening in the hull of the Crowley. As you approach, look on the large flat surface to your right for a scannable log.

Solenoid Analysis

Camina Drummer finds a solenoid analysis report on board the Manitoba in The Expanse: A Telltale Series

On the Manitoba, you’ll be attacked by a pair of pirates. After the quick-time event, proceed down the hall past the first drone. A room to the left before the next set of drones contains a terminal that you can scan.

Ship Registration

Camina Drummer checks the Artemis registration information in the captain's quarters in The Expanse: A Telltale Series

When you return to the Artemis, you’ll be able to enter the Captain’s Quarters for the first time. Check the terminal in the bedroom for information about the ship.

Comms Log

Camina Drummer checks the Artemis Comms Log in The Expanse: A Telltale Series

Enter the Artemis Crew Quarters and take a left. You’ll find the Comms Log just outside Rayen’s room.

Water Storage Log

Camina Drummer checks the Artemis water storage log in the cargo bay in The Expanse: A Telltale Series

Before speaking to Maya in the Cargo Bay, walk to the wall directly across from her and check the terminal there.

The Crowley and Le Guin are named after sci-fi authors John Crowley and Ursula K. Le Guin. Hiram Grant is the birth name of the nineteenth-century American General and President Ulysses Grant.

Mushroom Powder

Camina Drummer checks the cupboards in the mess hall of the MCRN Crowley in The Expanse: A Telltale Series

In the Crowley’s mess hall, look for a soccer photo on the wall. Facing away from the photo, check the cupboards in the hall to the left to get some mushrooms for Virgil.

When you return to the Artemis, give the Mushroom Powder to Virgil in the Mess Hall kitchen to increase his opinion of you.

Self-Propelled Rounds

Camina Drummer finds a box of self-propelled rounds on board the MCRN Crowley in The Expanse: A Telltale Series

From the Med Bay, Bridge, or Mess Hall on the Crowley, you can enter a shaft that leads between decks. There’s an ammo case that you can pick up on the shaft wall at the Med Bay level.

Guidance System

Camina Drummer finds the Guidance System aboard the MCRN Crowley in The Expanse: A Telltale Series

Enter the mess hall by the ladder and walk straight ahead. Float across the gap to collect the Guidance System on the far side.

MCRN Tool

Camina Drummer collects a tool used by the Martian Navy aboard the MCRN Crowley in The Expanse: A Telltale Series

Take the shaft down from the mess hall to reach the Server Room. Take a right as you enter, and you’ll see a collectible tool against the wall.

Acceleration Drugs

Camina Drummer enters the medical bay of the UNN Hiram Grant in The Expanse: A Telltale Series

Enter the Hiram Grant from the leftmost breach and take a left. You’ll see a door to the ship’s Med Bay. Float to the ceiling immediately after entering the room and collect the salvage there.

Mag Boots

Camina Drummer finds a pair of magboots with feet still in them, attached to a floating piece of hull, in The Expanse: A Telltale Series

There’s a large panel between the two entrances to the Hiram Grant. On the right side, you’ll find a pair of mag boots stuck to the metal. The easiest way to collect them is to follow Arlen after collecting the Reaction Mass from the UNN ship, then turn right immediately after floating out into space.

Toxiperidone

Camina Drummer finds a hidden medkit containing toxiperidone in The Expanse: A Telltale Series

The drugs to treat Arlen’s pixie dust withdrawal can be found near the mag boots. Stand next to the beacon on the panel where you found the boots, and look for a blue container next to you. Underneath the panel attached to the container is a medkit that you can search – it’s right near the edge of the playable area, so you may get a warning about leaving the map.

Be sure to give Arlen the pills when you return to the Artemis – you can find him the Mess Hall.

Data Cube Hacker

Camina Drummer finds an intact data cube hacker on board the Le Guin in The Expanse: A Telltale Series

On the bottom deck of the Le Guin (the Engine Room), check the area behind the shaft before collecting the reaction mass. You’ll find this piece of salvage on the wall. When you return to the Artemis, you can use it to hack the computer in Virgil’s room adjacent to Med Bay and learn more about his history. Doing so unlocks more dialogue options with him if you speak to him in the kitchen.

You’ll automatically travel to the next area, the wreck of the Manitoba, after collecting the third barrel of reaction mass. Be sure to collect everything in the ship graveyard before you leave!
