How To Unlock The Trading Post At Your Castle In Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

One of the best ways to make money fast in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is through trading items at Trading Posts. The concept is simple enough: the items you trade at Trading Posts do not have fixed values, meaning that you can sell them for more than you purchased them for. If, that is, you are able to take advantage of the fluctuating market.

This guide will tell you everything you need to know about trading in the world of Eiyuden. From what cities have Trading Posts to what items each Trading Post carries to how you can unlock a trading post for your castle. Just follow this guide to maximize your profits and bank some serious Baqua!

Buying And Selling

Eiyuden does the player a huge favor by providing them with an easy-to-understand system for understanding a good deal at a glance. When you go to purchase an item, you are going to want to buy at a discount, which means, ideally, you should purchase items that have two arrows pointing down. However, it is also worth picking up an item if it is 5% or more below its base value. That will still yield a 15% return if you sell when it is worth 10% above the typical value. We’ve included a breakdown of what the arrows mean below….

Don’t bother with items that sell for small amounts. Even if you sell ten pieces of Rock Salt for 20% more than you paid for them, you are still only earning around 80 Bacqua or so. That is hardly worth the effort.

There is absolutely no reason to keep track of how much you pay for anything if you always buy low and sell high.

While prices are constantly fluctuating, when you find that a trading post is paying a premium for a specific item we typically found that when we teleported to a village that we knew sold that specific item, and then teleported back, the item in question was still selling for that increased amount. So, you can typically take advantage of the market as long as you know where to go. This guide does contain a complete list of what every Trading Post sells in the «Trading Post Stock» section.

On that note, you will be better off waiting until you have the ability to teleport before jumping into trading seriously. Until you have that ability, just purchase items when they are on sale and stash them in your vault.

The more money you have on hand, and the more free space you have in your inventory, the more you can just grab smaller margin-earning items.

Acquiring Your Castle’s Trading Post

In order to acquire the trading post for your castle you will need to proceed along the primary questline. Once you have reached the «» chapter, you will proceed to the region. Here you will be able to visit Twinhorne West. You’ll see Hogan hanging out at the dock. Talk to him and he’ll challenge you to make 50,000 in trading. Unfortunately, anything you have traded up to this point will not count. Once you have made 50,000 through trading, speak to him again and he will join the resistance.

Once you have unlocked the Trading Post at your castle, life becomes much easier, as your Trading Post stocks EVERY item.
