Almost every day, it feels like a new actor signs on to Legendary’s live action Street Fighter adaptation.
Recently we reported on Callina Liang taking the role of the thunder thighed Chun-Li, and now we have our M. Bison: The Life of Chuck’s David Dastmalchian.
This follows the announcement last week that rapper 50 Cent will play boxer Balrog.
Plot details are still unknown, but as per series tradition, we’d expect the shady Shadaloo leader M. Bison to be the main villain.
As such, this will likely be Dastmalchian’s biggest role to date, although he’s no stranger to video game films: he also had a cameo in the Angry Video Game Nerd Movie.

We must be approaching a fairly complete cast list at this point, although we’d be surprised if popular characters like Cammy, Dhalsim, Zangief, and Sagat weren’t included as well.
