When it comes to games with a giant open world like Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, fishing can easily be one of the most time-consuming activities you do. This is usually due to the range of fish you can get in specific spots, and some of them are much rarer than others.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising – 6 Relatable Things Every Player Does
If you’ve been playing Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, you’ll have undoubtedly done at least a few of these things.
Whenever you get a specific fish, it automatically turns into food as you arrive at your castle. However, some characters in the game might ask you to get a specific one, or you might just want to finish your fish collection, and what better way to do that than knowing all the fish locations?
This article will regularly be updated as we find more fish out in the world.
How To Unlock Fishing
Unlike many other games, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes doesn’t necessarily aim to unlock fishing early in the game. If you want to unlock this minigame, you’ll first have to get past the entire early game to the point where you get and name your own castle.
Once you go out of your castle, you can head back through the Abandoned Mines and reach the exit in the Grum County area to find Huang, the fisherman there. However, you can also progress the story up until Euchrisse and find him in the capital of Hishahn.
You won’t be able to recruit Huang in Abandoned Mines since he
only gives you the recruitment task in Hishahn
.
When you meet Huang for the first time, he’ll give you a normal fishing rod, which can be upgraded through the base-building system to give you a better chance at catching bigger fish. It’s also better to find Huang in Hishahn since you can unlock fast travel here and easily go to the areas where you can fish.
All Fish And Fishing Spot Locations
The early areas of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will show you a fishing spot on the outskirts area, but you might find these spots inside specific villages, cities, or dungeons later on. Here are all the locations with the fish you can find in them:
Grum County
Grum County is the first area that you spawn in once you get past the initial Runebarrows in the game. You can find a fishing spot in this area right in the middle of Eltisweiss and Redthroat Ridge.

However, you can unlock even more spots here using the specific base-building upgrades. Higher-tier spots allow you to catch fish from late-game areas.
