Sony seems to be putting more of an emphasis on day-one PS Plus game releases, with one of those being the upcoming Animal Well. This curious indie game has always looked like an intriguing, lo-fi platformer, and we can’t wait to delve into it on 9th May as it arrives on PS5 and PS Plus Extra. The Trophy list is now available to view online (thanks, Exophase), and it looks like you’ll need to trawl the Metroidvania’s map for secrets if you want that Platinum gong.
There don’t appear to be any spoilers to speak of among the game’s list — it’s all purely about unlocking new abilities and discovering secrets. For example, five of the title’s 21 Trophies are dedicated to tracking down all the secret eggs. Another four are rewarded for finding special flames of some sort, and you’ll also need to light all candles and pop 1,000 bubbles in your journey through the mysterious well.
There’s no real indication of how long all this will take players to do, but we get the feeling it’s not quite as straightforward as it sounds. We’ll just have to see for ourselves in a week or so. Will you be aiming for the Plat in Animal Well on PS5? Let us know in the comments section below.
